Norton Antivirus 2006 with daily update couldn't detect W32/Saburex.A virus.?

I trusted at maximum level Norton Antivirus 2006 with daily update, but I remarked that it could not detect W32/Saburex.A virus, discovered at 10-th December 2006. But other antivirus software, like NOD32 or F-secure could detect, F-secure could also clean the virus. Why yahoo.com use Norton Antivirus 2006 ?

not sure, but i'm canceling my subscription to norton as soon as my subscription is up. it just eats too much RAM, and i like playing PC games. the scans also take an hour compared to NOD32's 10-15 minute full scans.

I have norton myself and when the subscriptions up im cancelling it and goin to macafee. Ive had loads of virus and norton never picked them up.

Go to Avast.com and download the free version. It catches most everything, tho none catches them all. Norton is way too invasive and slows down the computer. I will never buy Norton again as used it very few days before I tossed it in frustration.
