Well virus could be a possibility. Install AVG antivirus software. Also get Adware Personal. A complete scan with both these softwares will keep you system clean

Well you are suspecting the right thing, i won't say that, the reason for resting the computer could be one of the following

:---

virus or spyware

processor failure

heat sink and the cpu fan faiure,

hard drive faiulre.

Operating systrem curruption,

or

check if the auto restart is check in the computer, if not then try formatting the computer, else contact computer manufacturer.
