Please install an anti virus program in your PC right away? You'll not be able to use it quite efficiently without one. The free AV software the other 2 answers have given is quite good, it's the AVG AntiVirus program. While we're at it, consider installing a Tiny Firewall, too. Yes, it is also free. Note, always read the README files that come with your software. They should be compatible with your PC OS ( operating system).

I am personally do not use antivirus software at my pc at all. If I run around some suspicious file, I use online virus checking (f.e. at http://www.kaspersky.com/), but general rule is TO DO NOT DOWNLOAD FILE FROM SOURCES YOU ARE UNSHURE IN.

I advise you to use kaspersky .It s very hard to find a site that dont include viruses.
why dont you have any anti virus ...there are many free ones ....try avg http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 for example thats what i use ...
