Free Anti-Virus is a drag . Need to manualy update . Best to stay wit Norton and get ther "Internet Security 2008 Suite" http://www.symantec.com/norton/products/... with Software firewall and other necessary features . about 75.00 . Get it online . Your PC being slow , not sure what could actualy be causing that . What make and model is your PC ? Lavasoft has a nice Anti-Spyware software http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007-Fr...
