In your opinion, what is the best antivirus scan software and why?

Hi. I rid users of viruses all the time using the free version of AVG from Grisoft.com.

AVG has found and gotten rid of viruses that either Norton didn't find at all, or that found, but couldn't get rid of.

I install it on all of my customer's computers, and the best part is that it's free!

To get the free version, go to http://www.grisoft.com and type 'free' in the searchbox at the top. Download and install the free version (not the rootkit one).

I have used Norton, Yahoo free Anti virus and now I use AVG. While I never ran across problem on my computer with Norton, i did on the family desktop, the program kept getting errors and I got tired of fixing it. So once the date ran out, I switched to Yahoo's, because it was free since they are our Internet provider. It worked okay, and about a year later I put AVG on the computers and it work great.
You can't go wrong using comodos programs, here's the link http://www.comodo.com the have anti virus, firewall, antispyware called boclean.
