I have a software virus should i buy the $49.50 antivirus program online?

My computer is infected with some virus,worms,back doors,etc as a result im being bombarded with antivirus online programs my question is if i buy the $49.50 program online and download it will this get rid of my nasty viruses or would i still have to take it to a computer shop

before you buy the program try using AVG free first. It sounds like a scam to get you to buy their product.

If you don't have virus protection definitely get some. Just don't get it from a pop-up. Before you buy anything see if your ISP already provides a free Anti Virus program. I know Comcast does. Good luck!!!!!!!
