Can I install Yahoo toolbar without antispyware software and Norton antivirus?

I just want a stripped down version of the Yahoo toolbar. I have all the security software I need on my browser and desktop, plus what my ISP provides.

I don't want to download the toolbar and find I can't customize it. Does anyone know if I can download it without all the security add ons?

yes you can. after you install it you can remove the feather's by using the options under the tool bar.

I doesn't hurt or cause any problems by using the toolbar AS program. As a matter of fact, you should be using at least three Anti-Spy programs. You only use one Anti-Virus program and one Firewall. No single AS program can protect you against all the Spyware out there.

You can remove the AS by clicking on the Pencil (left of the Search window) then Toolbar Options and unchecking Anti Spy box. You can remove several main buttons here. To modify the the toolbar and remove Icon click on Personal Options%26gt;Add/Edit buttons and add or remove what you want on this page. Be sure to click on Finished when done.
